“Monday I was taking five, Tuesday I took dive. Wednesday I was stuck in a trap. Thursday I wasn’t thrown back. Friday I was tagged and penned. Saturday I met my end. Now I’m just a steamer.” Materials: Assemblage lobster made from hand carved and distressed pine, cold connect metal scrapings, mechanisms, curved wrenches, and license plates. Body made with an old iron trivet. Finished with red/rust colored wash. Mounted to found barn board.
“Making off with the goods, watermelon and Hoods Ice Cream. He never goes far, always at the ready with the getaway caw.” Materials: Assemblage seagull made from hand Carved and distressed pine, cold connect metal scrapings, old license plates, mechanisms, and discarded paint brushes. Finished with acrylic accents and washes, and framed with driftwood from Biddeford Pool Beach.
"Methinks myself obscure, or so they say. A tepid blue, all recherché. Too big, too chewy. To cook me off would be so loopy. Besides my right claw is droopy. The rarest of the rare." There's nothing nice about Creepy Eddy. Assemblage sculpture made from an oil can, a flattened pot, rusted nails and hand carved/painted pine body.

“Oh what has etched such an unflattering façade? Your spikes doth dwarf your toothy maw, your eye all askew. Surely sir braces would align those choppers, though the thought you doth poo poo." Materials: Assemblage fish made from hand carved and white washed pine, cold connect metal scrapings, mechanisms, can tabs, valves, and an eye made from an old oil can. Mounted to puzzle fit pieces of barn board.
“Feathery friend perched on three phalanges that connect to me, myself, and I. The proof is in the pudding I’m an ornithology guy.” Materials: Assemblage bird made from hand carved and distressed pine, cold connect metal scrapings, old license plates, mechanisms, and a funky piece of plastic from the Hannaford parking lot. Finished with acrylic accents and washes, and framed with driftwood from Colony Beach in Kennebunkport.
"In the pit of me stomach lies a license plate and box of fries. A rusty hinge to a garden gate and knobs to a sink I got from me mate - Edgar - who lives 'down under' - man them Aussie fish sure know how to plunder!" Hand carved and re-assembled pine sculpture with license plates, knobs, hinges, and other assorted materials. Hand painted and textured.
